    Is it too early to put your Christmas tree up? In a word, yes. Christmas is still 23 days away. But, when I do decorate my living room, I want it to look like this. Just silver and white baubles on the tree and all the presents underneath in matching silver paper. Only a few, very tasteful Christmas cards (sorry, mum), will make it to the mantlepiece, which will mostly be decorated with fresh foliage, flowers and white scented candles.
