If it wasn’t cruel enough that my Christmas tree had to go (leaving a garish and gaping space in my living room!), now January wants my Christmas lights as well! Meany.

Personally, I can’t accept the lack of magic that’s now fallen over my home, so I’m hunting for some timeless fairy lights to use all year round. Take THAT, spring!

I especially love  flower lights, they add a gorgeously girly decorative touch whether they’re switched on or not. I’ve found some beautiful ones at Blaze On, Melody Maison, Flower Glow and Graham and Greene.

And it couldn’t be easier to use them to decorate your home …

I really like the ones in the fireplace – much prettier than boring church candles!

I love the fairy lights. Particularly the first picture. Not sure my boyfriend would agree though!

Stuff the boyfriend Hannah. If you like the lights, have them- with bells on! My favourite is the chimney breast one, very eclectic

fairy lights add a bit of romance to everything. We have a lot of our garden trees adored with lights. Its adds another dimension to the landscape at night. Its is very therapeutic and is a feel good effect on the heart and soul…http://twitter.com/fairylightguy

Love the pink poppy like petals wrapped around the wrought iron bed. How much are they, and where can get them. I need them fast for my daughter’s 16th next week! Thanks ,
